Breaking through a creativity block
Week 1: Removing Self-Doubt
This week begins your creative recovery. You may feel excited and defiant, hopeful and skeptical. The information and activities are to help you establish a sense of safety, which will enable you to explore your creativity with less fear. You will be able to address your self-doubt so that you can feel free to be your true creative self.
Week 2: Breaking through a Creativity Block
This week you are beginning to come into your power as the false hold of what you thought you were capable of is shaken. You will be asked to become open-minded. By looking at your creativity blocks we will determine what is really stopping you from achieving your true goals in life.
Week 3: Journaling to strengthen your Mindset
It is safe to open ourselves up to greater and greater creativity. Your journal will be your lifeline. You will share your thoughts; learn how to stay organized, express gratitude, and to be creative. Let us spend some time this week getting organized so that we can move forward with our new and creative way of life.
Week 4: Strengthen your sense of Authenticity
This week addresses self-worth as a major component of creative recovery. This is a time to look into who you are, who you have been, and who you wish to become. The exercises and activities are aimed at moving you into your personal identity, an authentic version of you.
Week 5: Creating an Action Plan
This week we focus on our creative plan. We will talk about change, how it may feel uncomfortable at first but certainly necessary to become a creative individual. By forming an action plan you will feel a sense of relief and empowerment. This plan will serve as a guide to fulfilling your dreams.
Week 6: Creating Content
In this week, we will look into ourselves and see where we have come from. We address the fact that creativity requires receptivity and profound trust — these we have developed through our work in this program. We renew our commitment to the use of the mindfulness pages and creativity dates. We will use our action plan from the previous week in order create content, narratives that you will be able to use in your work as well as in your life. These are what will give you joy in life.
Week 7: Self-Care and Creativity
Let’s look at how we can take care of ourselves throughout the day. By doing some tweaking with our schedules we can find the time to enjoy life a bit more. Things such as coloring, drawing, observing, and meditating can strengthen our creativity throughout the day.
Week 8: Making Peace with your Inner Child
This week we will work with our inner child and discover what they truly crave. We will explore more about your likes and dislikes and find out where they come from. Let’s also create what your perfect day, week, and year look like based on our findings.
Week 9: Practicing Non-Judgment
Judgments are made about people, about our work, and about ourselves. If you are constantly telling yourself “I am just the worst,” “no one will love me,” or “I can’t ever make this work,” then you are using negative self-talk to judge yourself. People make judgment calls about other people all of the time not knowing all of the facts. When we meet someone for the first time we come back with an impression, if we read too much into it then it becomes a judgment. Let’s find out how judging our creativity can affect us.
Week 10: Abundance and getting rid of Money Blocks
Abundance isn’t only about money, although that part is important too. You can have abundance in friends, abundance in health, an abundance in time, or even abundance in happiness. This week finds us becoming receptive to abundance and learning how to channel it into our creative endeavors.
Week 11: Synchronicity and Intuition
Synchronicities are events that seem important and meaningful but don’t really seem to be related. When you think a thought, such as “I really wish there were sculpture classes I could take”, and the next day you are sitting at a coffee shop and the barista mentions that he runs a pottery class on Tuesday evenings, that is a form of synchronicity. We will learn to embrace them without fear.
Week 12: Creative Freedom
Society tells us that creativity has to be useful. It is hard for us to use creativity if it doesn’t directly serve our careers or us. We must redefine creativity and imagination to include our hobbies. In order to live a fulfilling life, our hobbies need to be an essential part of our lives. This is where we will find joy and let our imaginations run wild. This last week we will put all the pieces together and you will experience creative freedom.
3 Month Creativity Journey
Are you ready to unleash your creativity? Do you dare start a new creative endeavor? Do you want to live life more freely, become liberated, and feel more confident?
Well I'm hear to say that you can live a happy, fulfilling, and creative lifestyle.
I was working as a full time public school art teacher and living with anxiety, worrying about every little thing. It got to a point where I had a mental break down and had to quit teaching.
You see, I wasn't taking care of myself, emotionally, creatively, and physically. I learned that I needed to put myself first in order for everything else to feel right again. So what did I do? I picked up the broken version of me, put myself back together slowly, and started my own business. I got to determine my own level of creativity, and it felt like heaven.
If you are anything like how I was then I can help you get back on your feet. Can you relate?
If you decide that enough is enough and that you want to live differently I have just the program for you. You will experience growth, we will address your creativity blocks together, you will receive a boost of self-confidence, we will remove any lingering self-doubt, we will strengthen your authenticity. You will also learn how to journal (which helps to organize your thoughts and transform them into action), we will create an action plan for you to move forward and address accountability.
You can begin with my 6 week program which will address all of the above topics.
Is this right for me? If you are looking to motivate yourself, looking to create again, or seeking guidance on how to address fears, then yes this is for you!
But what if I'm afraid and not sure how to begin? No worries, I will guide you one-on-one throughout the whole process. There will be a pdf file with important topics and fun activities for you to do throughout the week. We will have 1 hour weekly sessions where we can discuss what is going on in your life and how to improve it. I will offer e-mail support throughout the week if anything comes up or if you have any questions. The price for this program is $1500 U.S. dollars. However, if you start off in my 6 Week Creativity Program and wish to continue working with me, the fee will be $1000. Still iffy? You can book a discovery call, for free, to see if this program is a good fit for you.
If you are ready to take the plunge, then you can book a discovery call below.
You should hurry though, I only take 4 clients per month! Make sure to reserve your spot as quickly as possible! Seats are being taken up fast!
Thais helps me to be the best artist that I can be. Through several weeks of training she has helped me with my goals of learning how to draw. It was hard for me to draw what I saw, but through persistence and excellent guidance, Thais has helped me improve dramatically. I am a full time mom and I home school my son. Even through this, Thais has been able to make my dream of drawing become a reality.
Thais has been an amazing coach. From both a critical and a creative standpoint, with regards to my art, she's invaluable - with her help, I've improved my skills and my output much more than I could have ever hoped to do on my own. I would be nowhere near my current level if it weren't for Thais.
Thais is very observant and detail-oriented, which has helped improve my ability to find what I was missing in my work. She is great at filling in those creative gaps with insights and exercises that I had no idea were out there. Learning from her has helped me become even more creative than I thought was possible!
Thais had a lot of great information to share in just a few short minutes with me! I gained insight on how to start the creative flow and reach goals that I have set in place for myself. I would recommend a consultation call with her to see how she can help you reach your creative goals.
